Partnerships

What to have ready before a partnership conversation.

Skill Forward Ventures is more useful to some partners than to others. The useful ones usually arrive with something we do not have: a curriculum, a product, a campus, a local team, or a mandate. We are more useful when the missing piece is reach, packaging, delivery or a record of what happened.

Four things worth writing down

Who the programme is for, in one sentence. What you already have, and what you want someone else to carry. Where it needs to happen — a city, a kind of institution, a kind of workplace. And what would count as finished for the first piece of work, not for a five-year vision.

If those four are clear, a first conversation can be honest. We can say whether we are the right partner, or whether you need a specialist we are not. That answer is more valuable than a polite proposal written before anyone has understood the work.

What this website will not pretend

A page on this site is not a contract. We do not list partner logos, because none have been approved for publication. Fees, durations and outcomes are discussed for a specific piece of work. They are not printed here as if they were the same for everyone.

If you have the four points above, the contact page is the right next step. The form keeps your note in the browser. For a reply now, use the official email in the footer.
